After the running of the brides at Filene’s a few weeks ago and a little window shopping with my twin we made our way back to the mall. We made a noon appointment for a sample sale at Chevy Chase Bridal. My little sister had my camera and I have to say I love the images she took. Enjoy!

1. What inspired you to get sexy and preserve it?

Thought it was a thoughtful gift for both, that you can’t put a price tag on.

2. What was your boudoir session like?

Pretty laid back. (FYI: I’m told that I can be a uptight person. lol)

3.How did you feel when you saw your wife’s images?

uhhhh let’s just say I wanna give the kids NyQuil whether they are sick or not,to put them to bed.

5. In your opinion, why should other couples consider getting sexy and preserving it?

To keep the fire lit in the relationship. Something you can take with you when you’re not in the presence of your mate.

Hey folks! Two weekends ago I traveled to the lovely sunshine state to capture Traci and Chris’ wedding. I had alot of fun and drank 2 gallons of water each day! Here is an image that I loved, but with out all the distractions. Enjoy!

This past weekend has been full of non stop running… literally! My family, friends and twin helped me look for a dress at  Filene’s Running of the Brides in DC. To say I was exhausted is an understatement. We left the house around 10:45 PM and did not reach the hotel until 1 AM! The trip should have taken 45 minutes! Everyone, except for my dad and a family friend, went to sleep. I set my alarm for 4:00 AM and when it went off I almost had a heart attack. After getting over the initial shock it was time to head out. The Decor Diva and I hit the street to find my dad and family friend and ended up walking past them. I saw groups of women with sleeping bags and comforters laying on the street. It was the weirdest thing. I did not find my dress but I am glad that I went because it was an experience that I will cherish with my family and my twin. Here are the images from the eventful day. Enjoy!

*oh on a sidenote I was trying on dresses and this man comes out of no where and shoves a mic in my face and ask if I was getting the dress I was trying on. I told him no because it was to small. He says maybe I need to lose some weight.

Just found this video! At 12 seconds you can see my baby sis running with the yellow cap we painted for the team.  She is holding it on her head and wearing  a white shirt as well. My older sister or Decor Diva is at 23 seconds with a red scarf tied around her waist.

Over a month ago I was proposed to by my Mr. Wonderful! (let me take a moment) Ok… better. I do a happy dance every time I think of it! My mom , baby sis, and I decided to go shopping for a dress for my destination wedding a week ago. We started at David’s Bridal and I was not impressed with my consultant. I felt as if she did not understand the look I was going for or if she even cared. We must have tried on every dress they had. The next day , in a thunder storm, my lil sis , my grams , aunt and I went to Alfred Angelo and I had the pleasure of working with the wonderful Courtney. She was amazing! She truly understood my vision and actually chose a dress that I would never have thought to try but  feel in love with. Its a top contender. Here are some images from the excursions. Today starts off one of the best and largest festivals in the nation! I have attended Artscape for years now and every time I see new and exciting art, crafts and jewelry. I love this time in my hometown because everyone from Baltimore City and the surrounding counties is in attendance. Two years ago there was a dj and a huge block party on Charles St. Last year the students of MICA made a huge human foosball table. I cannot wait to see what’s going to be new this year! Watching tv and relaxing when the funniest commercial I have seen in a long time comes on. Who knew a hamster driving a Kia could be so hilarious. Enjoy!

My good friend Dez’s little sister is getting married! Of course they decided to have the best wedding photographer in the state capture their day (giving myself a pat on the back), but I digress. I am super excited because this is a destination wedding in Key West, Fl. I have so many ideas and have already discussed doing a post wedding beach photo shoot. My boudoir retouching is very different from my wedding retouching. Weddings rarely receive full retouching for every image. The  retouching is usually on bridal portraits to remove blemishes and acne. Boudoir is all about enhancing the beauty of a woman (or man) with little nips and smoothing. Nothing to drastically alter the appearance of the person so they are unrecognizable even to their mother! Here are two examples from both a celebrity’s retouching and yours truly. Enjoy!
